God has called each of us at Trinity to participate in our growing family of dedicated followers and witnesses of Jesus Christ who gather for spiritual growth, fellowship and service. This includes Christ-centered ministries to help identify and meet the spiritual and physical needs of individuals and families in our community and lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our History

Trinity was initially chartered in 1918 as "Southwest LaGrange Methodist" and services were held in the Callaway Mills Band Hall over Bradfield Drug Store and in Southwest LaGrange School.

In 1919, the church and community received a land donation from Callaway interests for construction of a new sanctuary. In 1930, under the leadership of Reverend Paul Turner, the church's stewards and trustees voted to build an annex next to the building. In 1959, Reverend Leo Burgess anticipated future growth and purchased the property at the corner of 3rd avenue and Lincoln Street. In 2002, the church received construction funding for a new building and voted to rename the church "Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church". In 2024, the church renamed itself to "Trinity on the Hill Community Church".

Over the years, Trinity on the Hill has maintained its trust in its mission towards spiritual growth, fellowship, and service.
